Do most Internet marketing sites succeed or fail?

Best Answer:
Online spending hits £4bn a month. Now, I am sure that's not done by a few companies e.g 2%. This is the report of 2007.

Wet weather was one factor behind last month’s internet spending boom, said the report, by the Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG), the industry body which represents e-retailers. Online spending hit £4.2 billion during July - up 80% year-on-year.

Sales of clothing, footwear and accessories were also stronger than ever before. IMRG managing director Jo Evans said the online sales surge was surprising.

"This data is sound. It reveals the extent to which the retail sector is being transformed by frictionless e-commerce," she said."Major brands are bringing on-stream the next generation of slick new internet retailing services, and consumers are flocking to use them."

Electrical goods were popular items last month as shoppers stocked up ahead of their summer holidays.

Since last year many firms had launched or updated their websites and expanded their online shopping ranges to boost sales, the IMRG said.

The online sales data is based on the IMRG’s ongoing survey of UK online spending.

Yes, there are failures but billions are made on the internet by companies who approach the Internet market professionally, who plan, goal set, who approach clientele with personal touch, who have high standard of customer service and who.....tap into a niche market.

It is not the market that is the problem but the way people have yet treated business as business e.g. professionally and with a thinking of "out of the box."

Most fail but its not just limited to internet marketing sites. The same thing can apply to any kind of business or industry. Just look at all the people that go to Hollywood to be stars - the majority of them don't succeed. You have to MAKE the decision to succeed! Over 98% go down in flames for a number of reasons really, I'd have to say the main reason is that for some odd reason, people assume that even though they have absolutely no marketing skills or qualifications, it's ok, because it's the internet. Most people don't treat it like a business, more like a hobby, and even more treat it like a magic lamp. I recommend a resource like the Warrior Forum. Some say 95% fail before 3 years........... Ok, so why would you want to start your own line business? There are probably as many personal reasons as there are online business today, but most of those reasons will fall into one of these seven categories You Want to Pursue Your Personal Passion You may have a hobby that you are passionate about, and you want to commit yourself to that passion, and develop your own creative ideas. You Perceive a Gap in the Market You have a specialized skill, and you see a need in the marketplace for your expertise. You want to take advantage of that market gap because you think you can provide a product or service solution You Know the World is a Different Place Today There has been a change in your circumstances - you are laid off, downsized, retired, fired, relocated , divorced, married, or whatever has changed your personal world. Your job may have been replaced by technological change, so you may decide to use technology for your benefit, and go online. You Want more Money You want more control of how much you earn, and are intrigued by passive income. You Want More Free Time You want to escape the 9-5 routine, have more flexibility, more control of your life, and your time You Want to Be Your Own Boss You want to use your own entrepreneurial skills, and teach those skills to your children You Want the Prestige You admire those business owners that have created their own stability, and tax benefits of owning their own business. Do you see your [why] here anywhere…….? What is stopping you…..? [Why] are you still dreaming? Are you like a lot of wannabe internet marketers ….you are suffering from information overload, you just don't know for sure where to start, aren’t computer whizzes, or fear getting ripped off . Well when I got started online almost five years ago, I wish I would have had a real mentor or a step by step guide to help me learn what to do, and why not to do certain things……the lessons of hard knocks sucks by the way! IMRG managing director Jo Evans said the online sales surge was surprising. This data is sound. It reveals the extent to which the retail sector is being transformed by frictionless e-commerce, she said.Major brands are bringing on-stream the next generation of slick new internet retailing services, and consumers are flocking to use them. It is not the market that is the problem but the way people have yet treated business as business e.g. professionally and with a thinking of out of the box.

Well when I got started online almost five years ago, I wish I would have had a real mentor or a step by step guide to help me learn what to do, and why not to do certain things……the lessons of hard knocks sucks by the way! the ones that fail dont fail because they are internet businesses ..they fail because the owners don't know how to run a business or market properly.

It's free, and filled with top internet marketers who give some incredible advice.
